Like any other healthcare organization, Home Health and Hospice Agencies have to secure government contracts to begin operating. SBS provides four types of consulting services to Home Health and Hospice Agency owners:

Industry

Home Health and Hospice Agencies comprise the skilled care portion of the Home-Based Healthcare industry. These vital organizations allow patients to remain in their homes while receiving life-saving, restorative, or palliative treatment. While Home Health and Hospice Agencies serve patients of all ages, the primary recipients remain Medicare enrollees. To serve this patient population, Agencies must secure government contracts through a series of applications and inspections (called surveys). Due to the growing population of people entering retirement age and the drastic cost savings associated with in-home care vs. facility-based care (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities), this industry is projected to multiply in the coming decades.
